This work was just under 2m x 3m, commissioned by the Mayor of Wanganui, Michael Laws. 

It was designed for installation in the Council Chambers. 

The work features Wanganui icons. From left: the Opera House, the Memorial Steps, the hills surrounding Wanganui, the Sargeant Art Gallery, the river, the old Post Office building, the Watt fountain, and Mowhanau beach

The painting has been reproduced in a number of council publications, including a regular spot in the local newspaper.
